12000 coloured balls set to hurdle down iconic Patrick’s Hill for the benefit of Cork community group Cork Life Centre

Cork Cities iconic Saint Patrick’s Hill will be awash with colour on Sunday March 19th at 2pm as 12000 brightly coloured balls tumble down its slope in aid of Cork Life Centre.

Cork Lions club ball run 2022 – supporting communities with a family fun event

The colourful Patrick’s Hill ball run, organised by Cork Lions Club, sees 12000 numbered balls race from the top of the steep incline in dramatic fashion before being captured at the bottom.  Cork residents are invited to purchase a number for just €2 at www.corklionsclub.ie, or on the day.  The first six balls to make it to the bottom of the hill will win a prize for their sponsor.

All funds raised at this great family event will go to support the work of Cork Life Centre, who conduct invaluable work supporting marginalized youths and have delivered life changing services via their volunteer base.

The Cork group is not the only beneficiary of the event as Cork Lions Club are asking attendees to bring their old unused glasses for recycling.  The specs will be donated to the Recycle for Sight Campaign, which cleans, grades and sends the glasses to eye clinics across the third world.

Its a family fun day that is a feast for the eyes and a highly recommended community event.  Come enjoy the scene and support a worthy cause in the process – Sunday March 19th at 2pm.
