Cork City Saint Patrick’s Day parade will be the largest ever with 3500 participants

The 2023 Cork City St. Patrick’s Day parade will be the largest ever held, with over 3500 participants from 55 groups.

The theme of the 2023 event will be ‘A century of stories’, which is representative of Ireland’s 100 years of independence and the associated Decade of Centenaries programme.

The hugely popular event in the calendar will see international visitors arrive from all over the world. Attendees can expect a spectacular sea of colour from various community groups, brass bands and creative floats, in a day that celebrates Irish heritage and community links.

The route of the parade, which begins at 1pm

Early arrival is recommenced to secure a great spot, and enjoy all the event has to offer.

Groups wishing to become involved can email stpatricksfestival@corkcity.ie for an application form, to be returned by February 17th 2023.
