Cork seen as essential for essential oils giant dōTERRA’s with 12 million Euro facility
dōTERRA, the world leader in essential oils held the opening of its Cork manufacturing facility, the first facility of its kind outside the United States for the consumer giant and the latest company to invest in Cork.
The site will serve as dōTERRA’s European manufacturing headquarters, distributing dōTERRA products to the European marketplace. The facility produces 10 million bottles of essential oils each year, with a staff of 65 in place. Further jobs are anticipated in quality control, supply chain management, finance, legal, and HR, with the ability to increase to 100 team members over time.
At 95,000 sq ft, this state-of-the-art facility consists of cleanrooms, bottling rooms, office space, testing laboratories, cold storage and warehousing.
