Cork named second in Europe for economic potential at investment awards

Cork City has been named second in Europe for economic potential at the 2024 Financial Times FDI awards, in the small city category.  The city secured several top five finishes in the various categories related to FDI, including:

1st in Europe for FDI strategy

2nd in Europe for economic potential

3rd in Europe for business friendliness

4th overall in the small European category

The city has attracted over 200 multinational investors to its welcoming business environment, with several key attractors including a high number of graduates from two respected universities and a collaborative and innovative business environment.
